About Us
Nauti Pleasure Yacht Charters has been operating in Destin/Fort Walton Beach since 2015 offering private yacht charter excursions and Recreational Bareboat Charters aboard our luxury Bluewater yacht. What makes our service unique is the design of our vessel allowing for maximum elevated seating for a superior view of the surrounding area for all of your guests. Even more importantly Bluewater Yachts are designed with a shallow water capability allowing your guests to dismbark into standing water at Crab Island, Destin's most famous attraction. Few other yachts this size have this cabability critical in maximizing your enjoyment.
The motor yacht Nauti Pleasure is located in the greater Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Okaloosa Island area. Our regular touring area includes Choctawhatchee Bay with its surrounding bayous, Destin Harbor and Destin East Pass, Okaloosa Island National Seashore indlcuding Crab Island. Weather permitting we are capable of taking your guests into the Gulf of Mexico and cruise the Emerald Coast in safety. Our service provides for relaxing scenic excursions, cocktail cruises, dolphin interactions, swimming and snorkeling in combination with your special event.
Mission Statement
The M/Y Nauti Pleasure is a luxury 50-foot Bluewater Yachts M/Y (Motor Yacht) for your private nautical pleasure. Our goal is to provide the the Charterer that may or may not have the resources of ownership an opportunity to experience yachting in one of the most sought-after locations for boating; Destin Florida. Those that can afford their own yacht might find it impractical to own given their busy lifestyle and other priorities. Maybe you left your yacht at home? Regardeless your chartered yacht comes fueled, clean, comfortable and ready for service on your reserved date and time.
The cost of owning your own yacht is considerable if not prohibitive. 15% down payment, 10 - 15 years of montly payments, yacht insurance, hurricane insurance, dock slip and storage and extensive routine maintenance will total thousands of dollars a month not to mention the depreciation once you take possession. Economically speaking only the experienced yacht owner knows that renting is far less expensive than the comparable cost of owning when broken down to a "per use" cost basis.
How does a Recreational Bareboat Charter work?
Uninspected private recreational vessels are chartered, leased or rented to an individual (Charterer) through a written agreement. The Owner does not provide a Captain or crew. The Charterer selects and contracts a Captain/crew from a pool of qualified Captains and pays them directly at a rate determined between the two parties. The Charterer assumes possession of the vessel as if it were their own. The Charterer is responsible for the operation of the vessel in accordance with all Federal, State and Local law.
The Owner can recommend a list of Captains for the Charterer to hire, but cannot stipulate the selection. (Title 46 U.S. Code Section 2101 (35) states that a chartered 12 passenger vessel cannot be provided a crew "specified" by its owner to qualify as a Recreational Bareboat charter.) The Owner can require the Charterer to hire a Captain with a preset level of qualifications. Captains MUST have demonstrated competency with our vessel, hold at least a U.S.C.G. 25 Ton Master license and comply with Federal random drug/alcohol testing regulations at a minimum. Captains work for the Charterer as an independent contractor on an "at will" basis as agreed between the two parties.
